Grand Prix at the Venice Biennale, solo exhibition at MOMA, winner of the Akutagawa Prize, film director, etc… Masuo Ikeda (1934-1997), known for his diverse talents, was both a “master of colors” and a “seeker of black”.
We are pleased to introduce the rare collection of works by Masuo Ikeda that highlight the contrasting “colors and black”, primarily “Tokyo Tower”, which uses the visual colors of the Park Hotel Tokyo (blue/red/green).
