Koshu Inden in Yamanashi Prefecture has a history of about 400 years. It was spread among people during the Edo period as a familiar tool for traditional crafts with lacquer on deerskin.
We would like to introduce colorful works made by Mr. Yusuke Yamamoto, the third generation of “Yamamoto Inden”and the only qualified Koshu Inden Traditional Craftsman (General Department) in Japan.
