Collaboration of two artists who radiate energy like sunlight

Masuo Ikeda

Born in 1934 in Manchukuo.
In 1965 he was the first Japanese artist to hold a solo exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. In 1966 he won the Grand Prix in the Printmaking category at the Venice Biennale. He was also an internationally renowned multi-artist with many different talents, including as a writer who won the Akutagawa Prize for « Aegean Sea », a film director, and a ceramic artist. He passed away on March 8, 1997.

Noriko Saito

Born in 1973 in Yokosuka.
Graduated from Tama Art University Graduate School of Fine Arts. Collections are housed around the world, including the Harvard Art Museums, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts. Her artist room « Childhood » will be completed on the 34th floor of the Park Hotel Tokyo in 2023.
