We are pleased to announce a solo exhibition by woodcut artist and visual artist mole^3 (mole cubed).
The exhibition features over 30 experimental works combining “generative art” and “woodblock prints.”
Woodcut artist / Visual artist
mole^3 has recently expanded his practice to include generative art and works that incorporate open date, images, and sound. Since a print can be made with coding, mole cubed interprets outputting on a screen as synonymous with printing on a surface. He also considers coding a “printmaking extension” as the basis of his work, and experiments with various ideas derived from it through coding and printmaking.
C-DEPOT is a group of about 100 artists who specialize in various genres such as painting, three-dimensional work, video, photography, and media art. Founded in 2002 on the principle of “Art=Diversity,” the group continues to build bridges between artists and society, proposing and implementing through independent activities how to give back to society in return for the money earned through expressive activities. We hope you enjoy their artworks, which express their awareness of contemporary issues from their own perspectives.
