Art from Park Hotel Tokyo has crossed the ocean.
Last winter, our atrium exhibition « On the Way in Winter » brought the works of artist Ayaïro to our guests — vibrant canvases filled with wisteria, koi, and the quiet warmth of Japanese seasons. Among those who visited was a guest from England, who fell in love with two of Ayaïro’s pieces and chose to bring them home.

Months later, we received a message that moved us deeply:
We were so touched to receive this wonderful message. Knowing that our art has travelled across the ocean and found a new home — and that we remain connected to our guests through art — that is our greatest joy at Park Hotel Tokyo.

At Park Hotel Tokyo, art is at the heart of everything we do. Our concept — « a space and time where you can experience Japanese aesthetics » — is brought to life through our ART Colours exhibitions, held throughout the year in the hotel’s atrium. These exhibitions are designed not just to display art, but to create meaningful encounters between Japanese artists and guests from around the world.
This story is one of those encounters. A guest visited our exhibition, felt a deep connection with Ayaïro’s work, and welcomed two pieces into their new home in England. The art that once graced our atrium now hangs on a wall in Worcestershire — described as « the most commented on piece of art in our home. »

Park Hotel Tokyo is home to more than 400 works of art on display at any one time — and most are available for purchase. If a piece catches your eye during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Concierge team. Guests are invited to live with art during their stay, and if a piece speaks to them, to bring it home. It is this everyday encounter between people and art that we cherish.
