Due to an unauthorized access to a reservation made by Booking.com, Park Hotel Tokyo have confirmed the following incident at our hotel, where some customers have made reservations via Booking.com. We have already reported the situation to Booking.com and requested an investigation.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and concern this may cause you and please be informed that Booking.com will never request credit card information or payment via email or chat after receiving a reservation from you.
We have been informed by Booking.com that no personal information was accessed or credit card information was compromised by a third party as a result of this incident. In addition, Booking.com has already sent an email alert to guests who received the suspicious message at approximately 4:00 p.m. on October 17, 2023.
If you have received a suspicious message from Booking.com or any other accommodation provider, please DO NOT access the URL link attached to the message. If you have already accessed the link and entered your credit card information or made a payment, please contact Booking.com immediately. Please be informed that Booking.com will never request credit card information or payment via email or chat after receiving a reservation from you.
